This course is for beginners, or those who haven't searched for long. It focuses on New Zealand and overseas records. The course is hands-on, so you'll have time to find your own family using some of these resources: Births, Marriages, and Deaths entries; Electoral Rolls; Probate and Wills; Newspapers; Police Records; Shipping information; Census data; Parish registers; land records; convict records; maps; and whatever else is appropriate to the search. You'll learn how to record your findings using hand-written pages or computer programs to save it.

SELF DEFENCE: Krav Maga(Age 15+) 2018

Krav Maga (contact combat) is a tactical self-defence system developed by the Israeli Defence Force. Its application and efficiency in the real world setting has been proven to be highly effective. Because of this, it is a self-defence system that is used widely by the military special forces, law enforcement agencies and bodyguards.

A refresher workshop for senior road users held at the Emmaus Centre, Tawa Anglican Church. This course has been subsidised by Tawa Lions Club. Staying Safe is a classroom-based refresher workshop for senior road users. The workshop aims to maintain and improve safe driving practices and increase knowledge of transport options available to help senior road users remain mobile.
