Orchestra
32 sessions - Monday night rehearsals and 3 concerts
The Tawa Orchestra is a community orchestra that attracts players of all ages and walks of life. No audition required – minimum standard Grade V. You will learn the dynamics of being part of a full orchestra including rehearsal techniques, sectionals, and performance. The Tawa Orchestra will perform 3 concerts throughout the year and may include collaborations with other community groups and visiting artists.
New members can join at any time. Inquire about the fee if you are starting during the year.Fees: NZ$260
Concerts for 2026 have been confirmed: Sunday 17 May, 3pm, Tawa College Hall Saturday 5 September, 3pm, Tawa College Hall Sunday 22 November – time and venue to be confirmed.
Class dates are subject to change – Sam will advise rehearsal / concert times.
