POTTERY: Wheel work Intermediate

This course is full - however, you can add your name to a waiting list and we will let you know if a space becomes available.
This class is limited to 8 people FULL

8 Monday nights - must attend 14 September - Starts on 20 July from 7-9:30pm

Must have done a previous intermediate course or 2 beginner classes or have equivalent throwing experience. The aim of the course is to extend students who can already centre and throw a basic cylinder, and will provide tuition to begin making pieces that are larger and with more complex shapes, such as vases, jugs, pots with lids and types of serving dishes. Please note that glazing will be done on the final week, so it is essential that students can attend on that evening as there are no alternative opportunities to glaze work.

The costs for clay, firing and glazing materials are extra and will vary depending on how much a student makes. Please bring $60 materials deposit payable in cash to the tutor on the first night. Some students may not use all this deposit however productive students may be required to pay more. This class is held at Gear Homestead Woolshed Potters clubrooms, Gear Homestead, Okowai Road Porirua and is for ADULTS ONLY. No class 31st August
