This course is full - however, you can add your name to a waiting list and we will let you know if a space becomes available.
This class is limited to 9 people FULL
This class is an introduction to throwing clay on a pottery wheel. Students learn to centre clay on the wheel and the basics of throwing the foundation shapes of cylinders and bowls. Please note that glazing will be done on the final week, 29 June.
It is essential that students can attend on that evening as there are no alternative opportunities to glaze work. The costs for clay, firing and glazing materials are extra and will vary depending on how much a student makes. Please bring $60 materials deposit payable in cash to the tutor on the first night. Some students may not use all this deposit however productive students may be required to pay more. This class is held at Gear Homestead Woolshed Potters clubrooms, Gear Homestead, Okowai Road Porirua and is for ADULTS ONLY. No classes on 27 April (ANZAC) or 1st June (King’s Birthday) or 22 June (firing time)
