Debbie Nguon

Debbie Nguon has grown up around flowers, with both her grandmother and mother being life members of the Johnsonville Floral Art Society, where she is now the President for the club.
Debbie spent some time in her early life training in a florist before pursuing other ventures. She tutored flower arranging at both Newlands and Onslow Community Colleges for many years before taking a break while she raised her young family.
She has now returned to tutoring flower arranging and strives to ensure her classes are relaxed and enjoyable. As it is important to her that the designs are affordable, she shows students what can be used from the garden (or friend’s gardens!) therefore requiring only a few flowers. A regular comment from students is they look at their gardens completely differently now.
