SEWING FOR CHRISTMAS
Get into the festive spirit with our Christmas Sewing Short Course! This fun and creative course is perfect for sewers who have some experience and sewing enthusiasts who want to make beautiful handmade Christmas decorations, gifts, and seasonal accessories. Over the course, participants will hone essential sewing techniques, including measuring, cutting, stitching, and finishing, while creating a range of festive projects e.g. ornaments (bunting, fabric baskets), stockings, table decorations, and gift bags. Guided step-by-step by an experienced instructor, you'll build confidence in using sewing equipment and working with a variety of fabrics. By the end of the course, you'll have a collection of unique Christmas creations to decorate your home, give as thoughtful gifts, or inspire future sewing projects.
Note: This is not a learn to sew course, the student must already have some prior sewing knowledge and how to operate a sewing machine independently.
