SEWING – INTRODUCTION FOR BEGINNERS – Term 4

The perfect Beginners Sewing course for those who prefer to learn in a short course evening class format, this condensed sewing course offers you an introduction to the sewing machine and learn how to sew.
Topics covered: Winding a Bobbin, Threading up the Machine, Sewing Kit Equipment, Fabrics, Types Of Seams, Seam Finishes and lots of Sewing Tips for easier efficient sewing.
A number of simple items will be made throughout the classes to embed the learning. These are pre cut and will be supplied in class (included in course fee).
Introductory pattern information and what to look for when purchasing a sewing machine is also provided.

The school provides: sewing machines, bobbin, bobbin cases and scissors.
All students need to bring their own sewing kit.
This course is also suitable for ESOL students
