Luella Plimmer

Since training in Fashion and Design at Wellington Polytechnic in the early 1970's I have been around the fashion industry and sewing machines. I was in retail for many years and have been teaching at Tawa College Community Education for nearly 30 years. I teach a wide range of subjects which include sewing, roman blinds, patternmaking, overlocking, using stretch and many more. My latest class which started as a hobby is upholstery, has been very popular especially the weekend courses.

PATTERNS FROM EXISTING GARMENT: (September)
1 Saturday - 8 September from 9am-3pm

Bring along your favourite garments and make patterns from them or bring one garment and fabric and make a copy of it. Sew skills essential.
